J. Safeguard – Extended Cover for Used Vehicles

Sleep better at night with J. Safeguard. Unexpected issues can arise when purchasing a used vehicle. J. Safeguard provides financial security in surprising problem situations. Repairs are covered according to the terms, and you don’t need to worry about excess payments, as the repair costs are handled through the insurance.

There’s J in it – worry-free driving

Used vehicle protection, i.e. J. Safeguard provides assistance and security in unexpected situations. Thanks to the extended warranty, you can drive worry-free according to your choice of either 12 months / 20,000 km or 24 months / 40,000 km. J. Safeguard is available in different options depending on the vehicle you purchase and its specific details.

The extended warranty J. autoturva covers selected original electronic and mechanical components related to the engine, gearbox, brakes, steering, equipment (factory-installed only), turbo, drivetrain, electrical systems, fuel systems, cooling systems and air conditioning.

J. Safeguard Lite

J. Safeguard Lite is an extended warranty available for slightly older and more driven vehicles than the standard J. Safeguard. However, the scope of covered parts and repairs is more limited.

Maximum compensation during the insurance period: €5,000.

  • The price of 12 months of J. Safeguard Lite is €849 (incl. VAT). It can be granted to cars under twelve years old, driven less than 250,000 kilometers and with an engine capacity under 3,200 cm³.

J. Safeguard e is an extended warranty designed for electric and hybrid vehicles.

  • The price of 12 months of J. Safeguard e is €1,040 (incl. VAT). It can be granted to cars under nine years old, driven less than 200,000 kilometers and with an engine capacity under 3,200 cm³.
  • The price of 24 months of J. Safeguard e is €1,640 (incl. VAT). It can be granted to cars under seven years old, driven less than 200,000 kilometers and with an engine capacity under 3,200 cm³.

  • The price of 12 months of J. Safeguard is €849 (incl. VAT). It can be granted to motorhomes and caravans up to 15 years old, driven less than 200,000 kilometers and with an engine capacity under 3,200 cm³.
  • The price of 24 months of J. Safeguard is €1,249 (incl. VAT). It can be granted to motorhomes and caravans up to 10 years old, driven less than 200,000 kilometers and with an engine capacity under 3,200 cm³.

J. Safeguard – Moto

J. Safeguard for motorcycles. Maximum compensation during the insurance period: €2,000.

  • The price of 12 months / 10,000 kilometers of J. Safeguard Moto is €199 (incl. VAT). It can be granted to road-registered motorcycles up to 15 years old, driven less than 60,000 kilometers and with an engine capacity over 200 cm³.

What to do in case of sudden breakdown

If your vehicle requires repairs due to a failure of a part covered by the protection, call the number below or present proof of the protection at the repair shop. The repair shop representative will call customer service to request approval for the repair.

Claims are approved by phone to ensure your vehicle is back in use as quickly as possible.
